            <p>On November 10th, DIS started a new initiative to acknowledge&nbsp;respectful, student initiated problem solving skills through W.O.W cards.&nbsp;The purpose of the W.O.W. cards is to recognize students who problem solve in a respectful way when dealing with conflict.&nbsp;When a student receives a W.O.W. card, he/she writes his/her&nbsp;first and last name, grade, and homeroom teacher’s name&nbsp;on the back. W.O.W cards are then placed in a container in the office.&nbsp;Random drawings will happen weekly.&nbsp; When students are selected they will have their pictures taken in front of the W.O.W. wall and pictures will be printed and displayed outside the Art room. Chosen W.O.W. students will also be shown on DIS Live. Below are our most recent W.O.W card recipients.</p>
