In accordance with Donegal School District Board Policy 312: Performance Assessment of Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent, “The Board shall conduct a formal written performance assessment of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent annually as required by law.”
The performance of the Superintendent for the 2024-2025 school year was assessed in June of 2025. The Superintendent met the objective performance standards.
The performance of the Assistant Superintendent for the 2024-2025 school year was assessed in June of 2025. The Assistant Superintendent met the objective performance standards.
Superintendent’s Message
The hallmark of our school district is the strong community support that is palpable when you walk in our school buildings. Donegal serves the Mount Joy, Marietta and Maytown communities and I am honored to serve the students, families and staff of the district.
Prior to becoming superintendent, I served the district as the Director of Elementary Education for the past seven years. I have worked as an Elementary Principal, Director of Student Services, School Counselor and High School Administrator. The single most important lesson I have learned in all these positions is this; we must know our students and staff as people first, and students or employees second. The power of human connection cannot be underestimated. I am excited to continue the work the district has been doing in this area. I know that we can be successful in not just preparing our students with the academic skills they need, but also preparing them to be positive members of our community.
