Hello, and welcome to my classroom! I am looking forward to having you in my class this year. This will be an exciting year at Donegal Intermediate School.
I will be your teacher for ELA (Reading/ Writing), and Social Studies. Your teacher for Math and Science will be Mrs. Ramsey!
This year we will continue to practice and build your reading and comprehension skills. We will also work at becoming better writers.
In Social Studies, you will learn about communities.
I am looking forward to working with your child this year. I believe that it truly does take a village to educate a child. Their success depends on us working as a team and communicating. If you ever have questions or concerns, feel free to email me at melissa.ross@donegalsd.org or send a note in your child's agenda or homework folder. These are the two best ways to get in touch with me!
I will send a newsletter home each week with important dates and information about what we are doing in school. Please be sure to look for these newsletters on Mondays. The newsletter can usually clear up any questions you have about what is happening in the classroom.
If there is ever a change in your child's daily transportation, please send me a note in the morning (if possible), or email/call the office as soon as you can to inform us of the change.
